An ode to the boats I've fished on with my brother Carl Lambert...
Thanks to him I love fishing in the ocean.
22 ft trailer boat
When he had this boat I did not fish. I was a student and got in one shark trip with him. It was a scare when the shark swam just beneath my hands as I washed off the fish guts from my fingers.

One nice boat. A fun boat to use. And one that I installed the outriggers on. We scuba dived the most from this one. I caught Barracuda and other fun fish. We did overnights to Catalina. Plenty of Lobster diving at night. A few Abalone. They were legal to take back then.
The Pacifica 44
A even nicer boat. A boat that had been fixed up special as the "whisky pete" to be a very fast nd hot marlin fishing boat. She hd a bucket tower and was a great boat to be on. Stable and roomy and a joy to fish for marlin on. This is the boat we used to win in the the KHMT. and set the stage for many happy returns to that marlin event. She had a very unique bow pulpit with a screen that you stood on and could see the fish below your feet as the tag went in. Wow ws that the sight too behold.
California custom 65
A unique item that Carl got into. And over extended boat that had the bait capacity of a much larger commercial sport boat. Bigger than some hot tubs. Nice boat for large groups and traveling. But a bit tricky to marlin fish from. We had some fun adventures like going down to San Diego when they had the Republican convention in town. Broken rudder cross bar... Getting some local yellowtail.
The Pacifica 48
Big yet not too big. A very nice boat. Fun to use. Some of my best boating photos are from this nice vessels' exploits.

The Nordlund 68
Now I understand Yachts. Luxury and fish ability is a unique pleasure. From swordfish to marlin to dorado and yellowtail have all come over the rails.

We did many great trips on these. On the Nordland 68 we had some Epic fishing.
All of the above went by the name Non-Taxing
That says a lot of why I like fishing... I've experienced a lot of fun boats. Mostly with Carl.
Thanks Bro' !
